Opening the lab
Why WiestLab exists, and what you will actually find here.
Hey — I’m Siekwie. This is WiestLab: a public notebook for the things I build and the weird corners I wander into while building them.
I’ve been coding since I was fourteen, mostly for myself, friends, or pure curiosity. A lot of that time goes into tools and apps: simulators, desktop apps, small web services. Not just prototypes that never leave a folder.
What this site is
- Apps: RepoEasy, FriendsShare and MarkItDown, the three I host and run as products.
- Projects: other tools that are actually built and usable.
- Notes: field notes. Funny failures welcome. Marketing fluff not so much.
What this site is not
Not every half-open editor window in my DEV folder. I keep a lot of sketches. Most of them stay sketches. WiestLab is for the stuff worth talking about — and for writing about how it got there.
Work I do for other brands lives in its own rooms. This one is personal.
How to follow along
- Try the apps
- Browse the project shelf
- Read the lab notes
- Poke me on GitHub or email
More notes incoming. Some will be about tools still mid-flight. I’ll try not to pretend a title screen is a finished product.
